Up next is London Graffiti, a melodic, thoughtful band with an impressive vocalist backed by a harmonic and beautiful flow of ideas.
Their latest single “Miracles” is a haunting, memorable track with poetic, thoughtful lyrics. The song's simple guitar reprise and aching melody is reminiscent of a modern Bob Dylan. The track builds as it glides along growing into a full band number. The track is as atmospheric as it is intelligent. The ebb and flow of the song makes it impossible to turn off. The soaring vocals toward the end are almost Eddie Veddar at his sweetest. A chilled tune which is full of interesting twists and turns.
Next up is “These Words”. It is clear that London Graffiti have managed to really carve out a unique sound and this track only enhances it. Its equal parts indie, melodic grunge and a twist of Radiohead. The song flows effortlessly held together with a trippy, soaring vocal that pulls the song forward. The use of space and quiet in this song is nothing short of breathtaking. The gaps in between make “These Words” a really stand out track. The use of synths here brings the song to a new level and the outro is almost a religious chant.
