HOLY SHOT! – “Musique Diabolique”
Band Assist favourites, HOLY SHOT! are back - and just in time for Halloween. The Barnsley rockers deliver a spine-tingling anthem with “Musique Diabolique”, a track that proves spooky season can still come with a serious rock injection.
It all kicks off with an eerie, haunted church organ intro straight out of a 70s horror flick - think Vincent Price meets Black Sabbath — before a cascade of guitars comes crashing in with pure intent. It’s bold, driven and unmistakably HOLY SHOT! from the very first chord.
The verses ooze atmosphere, the chorus slams with swagger and the vocal harmonies are, as ever, on point - haunting yet powerful. There’s an irresistible head-nodding groove that keeps the track grounded amid all the chaos, and just when you think it’s safe, that blistering solo rips through the mix like it was summoned by Satan himself. Add in some creepy background chanting over the fretwork and you’ve got a Halloween rock classic in the making.
As the track fades, the organ returns - ghostly and cinematic - closing the circle in perfect dark style. “Musique Diabolique” is creepy, catchy and completely captivating.
Holy Shot! don’t just raise hell — they make it sound heavenly
Musique Diabolique is out (unsurprisingly) on the 31st of October
