Next up are an act that has been described as “Painters of Sound” and we can see why. Ladies and Gentleman, I give you Moving Lines
First up is their latest single “The Garden”. This is a slice of 70’s, 80’s rock and pop perfection. Moving Lines are experts in blending and mixing sounds together to make something unique. They deliver the epic, grandiose sound of the 80’s with a modern approach to songwriting. The vocal is sheer perfection and elevates the song to a higher level. The guitar tone is what adds a little nostalgia but the concise guitar lines mean the song sounds fresh and immediate. This is a great demonstration of the art of songwriting where the changes, outro, breakdown and everything in between works so well to develop the depth of this track.
Ip next is the more relaxed “Dreams Will Never Die”. The track flashes in with an acoustic chord progression that is one of those that can help up make you feel uplifted. The song motors along with an excellent bass line pumping in the background, this really carries the song forward. There is a great storytelling narrative to the song that is reminiscent of 80’s rock. You can’t help but get drawn into the music of Moving lines and this is in part down to the vocals and the clear passion and inflection that makes this music very real. We love it!
Finally we have 2023 single “Secrets”. No this is epic. This is fist in the air, lighters up and heads nodding rock n roll. The guitar line is just so dam good here that you’ll be humming it long after the track ends. Once again we have the driving bass line which adds such depth to the acts music. The vocal once again stands out and soars, twists and turns to keep you listening with great intent. Its like the 80’s got a modern make over and we love it.
For Fans of: Fleetwood Mac, Journey and having a dam good time!
