Anything but cold feet with this hypnotic rocker

Public Liability’s new single Cold Feet is a confident stride forward for the indie rockers. From the outset it hits with a melodic yet heavy groove, laying down a rhythm that’s both driving and hypnotic. The track’s standout feature comes in the soaring chorus, where the vocal lifts above the mix with an urgency that sticks, delivering emotion without losing control.
The guitar work is understated but excellent—never showy, always serving the song. Guitar licks weave in and out, adding colour and weight without clutter. There’s a real sense of balance here: melody and grit walking hand in hand.
Stylistically, Cold Feet feels like a collision between Therapy?’s raw punch and Dodgy’s knack for melody—only with a harder, modern edge. At moments, flashes of 90s rock nostalgia break through, while the vocal carries a certain brooding quality reminiscent of Nick Cave. The result is a track that manages to sound both familiar and fresh, nodding to its influences while carving its own space.
Public Liability are proving that indie rock doesn’t have to play it safe. With Cold Feet, they deliver a track that grooves hard, soars high, and lingers long after it’s over.
