Review: We Three Kings – Nothing Without Me

Rock monster, We Three Kings return with Nothing Without Me, the first glimpse of their upcoming second full-length album, due spring 2026. It’s a fuzzed-up, high-energy slab of rock & roll that wastes no time in setting out its intent.

From the opening riff, you’re hit with that raw, no-nonsense swagger—dirty guitars snarling through the mix, drums pounding with relentless drive, and vocals delivered with a confident bite. The influence of bands like Queens of the Stone Age, Royal Blood, and Wolfmother is clear, but We Three Kings don’t just mimic—they inject their own urgency, grit, and fire into the formula.

The track thrives on its awesome use of stop–start sections that punch hard and keep the energy unpredictable. Then comes the chorus—an infectious, soaring hook you’ll be singing for days. It’s reminiscent of the early Manic Street Preachers in its drive and melody, the kind of chorus that embeds itself in your head after just one listen.

Well produced, well written and full of ideas, Nothing Without Me twists and turns in all the right ways. It’s inventive without losing sight of its rock & roll roots, showing a band growing in confidence and ambition.

Quite simply, this is our favourite new song—and a statement that We Three Kings are gearing up for something huge in 2026.
